The Challenge:
At his previous company, Stu Pendous, (Ops & Project Manager) used various Project Management tools but invariably got stuck in the complexity. If a project started falling behind deadlines had to be re-negotiated and often the entire project plan had to be re-done. The accountability for project delivery fell squarely on his shoulders so it was difficult to get people fully engaged and motivated as they didn’t face the same consequences in the event of failure.

How ABC Suites uses epic:
Stu Pendous started using the simple epic Project tracking tool feature and immediately starting seeing results.

Because everyone could simply ‘link’ their existing deadline-driven objectives & action plans to the Projects there was no need for a separate Project Plan. This meant that Project Managers had access to live reports on their specific projects. As individuals updated their progress this automatically pulled through into the relevant project report.

Project management meetings were simple to conduct as all the information was already there in the form of a live Project report which formed the agenda for the meeting.

The result was aligned focus where individuals could continue to concentrate on their allocated objectives, in the knowledge that their recorded progress was reflecting in the relevant project/s.

Everyone felt fully engaged and committed to the various projects as there was clarity, line of sight and team support for one another. Project delivery improved in terms of time and budget as a result.
